Schedule
WCG qualifying league will be held on online from August 16th, 2006 to September 5th,2006(23:59:59).
Rule
- Register on the Carom3D website to participate in the WCG qualifying league. You must input your EXACT information (age, country, etc.) to avoid being disqualified from attending the Grand Final in Italy, in case you are the winner of the qualifying league. ( There is no age restriction for participating in the WCG Grand Final. )
- Every participator will have 1000 WCG rating after registration.
- Connect to the WCG League server during the scheduled time/date.
- You will automatically meet your opponent.
- Your WCG rating will be changed according to your game result.
- Once you join the game, you should not exit from the room. It is regarded as a loss.
- The winners of each seed will be invited to Grand Final in Italy.
- We are not responsible for any problem caused by the Server, Client, and network, even if you are regarded as the loser by a disconnection.
- If there is any problem with a player’s Visa (passport), you might not be invited to the Grand Final in Italy.
- If you were banned according to penalty rules, you might not be invited to the Grand Final in Italy.
- Rank depends on your WCGRating, game count, win count, and last playing time.
Penalty
Your ID can be banned temporarily for the following reasons, according to Carom3D official rules:
1. Swearing. (curse words, offensive behavior)
2. Flooding. (repeating over and over the same text - example: @@@@@@@)
3. Dropping in 9ball after 10 seconds and before 1 minute when opponent wins.
4. DM dropping after opponent scored or before agreed time was reached.
5. Posting offensive or inappropriate websites.
6. Posting an inappropriate profile picture. (banned until it is changed)
7. Creating Guilds, spotlight messages or room names using obscene words.
8. Obscene, abusive or libelous posting on the boards. (forums)
9. Any behavior which can be considered against the spirit of the game.
10. Encouraging others to break the rules of Carom3D.
11. Obstructing a Moderator while doing his job.
12. Temporary Ban Penalties:
1st offence = 3 days
2nd offence = 7 days (1 week)
3rd offence = 14 days (2 weeks)
4th offence = 31 days (1 month)
5th offence = 90 days or forever (depending on the severity of the offense)
13. The above penalties are for guidance only. The actual length of the ban is left to the discretion of admin and moderators.
Your ID can be banned forever for the following reasons, according to Carom3D official rules:
1. Any form of Cheating (illegally getting points or ratings) in any game. Such as
*. Repeatedly allowing your opponent to win
*. Not playing in a game and waiting for your opponent to drop
*. Lagging a room without "Requesting a Draw"
*. Playing vs. your own Id(s) on a LAN (same IP), except Training Server
*. Dropping after 1 minute to give points/ratings to your opponent
*. Accepting drops after 1 minute to gain points/ratings
*. This includes 1x1, 2x2, and 3 x 3 games
*. Giving or accepting free wins to/with your opponent
*. Cheating in Death Match with by giving or receiving free Wait Points
2. Any attempted entry, by hacking the Carom3D Servers or the website.
3. Any alteration of the user code to gain an advantage
4. Using another player’s account/id/nickname for the purpose of cheating.
5. Impersonating or pretending to be another player, moderator or admin.
6. Making false reports to the Carom3D staff members or Moderators.
7. Attempting o mislead users by indicating that you represent Carom3D.
8. Acting in a way, or encouraging others to act in a way, which would be detrimental to other players, Carom3D or Neoact.
9. Stealing (or attempting to steal) IDs
10. Attempting to gain knowledge of a player's password
11. Using cheating programs
12. Posting websites that contain viruses, keyloggers or trojans
13. Using an illegal or stolen credit card to purchase Cash
14. Creating an obscene or abusive ID name (only the offensive IDs will be banned, but will be unbanned when the ID has been changed, if it is the 1st offense)
15. False claims regarding the behavior of a Moderator or Admin
16. Encouraging other players to break the rules of Carom3d
17. If you have broken any of the permanent ban rules and have been banned forever, your primary ID and ANY/ALL of your duplicate IDs will be banned also.
